Bricolage
I designed the trophy awarded to the winners of the “Nearby Invention Challenge / CREATIVE DISCOVERY CHALLENGE,” one of the projects under the “DRIVE MYSELF PROJECT” launched by Nissan Motor Co., Ltd., which celebrated its 90th anniversary in 2023. This trophy embodies the award’s theme of “Bricolage,” meaning to gather and mend things oneself, reflecting a spirit of creativity and resourcefulness. Each trophy was handcrafted, assembling everyday objects and scrap materials to represent the essence of making do with what is available, thereby celebrating the innovation and ingenuity of the next generation of creators.
